Building upon her public-facing advocacy and her background in social science, Yasmin first partnered with Stonewall on the UK's first asexual rights initiative - the Stonewall x Yasmin Benoit Ace Project - to release the Ace in the UK Report in late 2023. The report explored asexual discrimination in healthcare, the workplace and wider society, and has been used to inform government and workplace policy. Following it's release, Yasmin was offered a visiting research fellowship at King's College London's Policy Institute, where she continues working on research relating to asexuality. Her first paper with them explored public attitudes towards asexuality and was released in early 2025. She has since partnered with American LGBTQIA+ organisation on a research report into asexual experiences in the US' current cultural climate, which was released on International Asexuality Day 2026. Her next research project, a policy brief with Outright International, is coming this April.
